The Mountain Devil Lizard commonly known by other Australians as the Thorny Devil is a Dreamtime lizard responsible for creating the ochre colours used for body designs and other special ceremonial activities.

The depictions found in my Mountain Devil Lizard paintings shows the pattern found on the lizards back, and incorporating Spinifex and other habitat surroundings.
